Existing and emerging SUDEP guidelines: How can we bridge the gap between recommendation and practice?

06/04/2026 | 11:00 am EST - 12:00 pm EST

International and national guidelines for SUDEP counseling and seizure detection are increasingly available. However, their uptake and implementation in routine clinical care remain variable across regions and health systems. This webinar will address these central questions: what SUDEP-related guidelines currently exist and are on the horizon, what evidence tells us about how they are being used in practice, and how we can better translate these recommendations into meaningful clinical action.
